Does your little wild one have a stuffed teddy in need of a hibernation place? Create a cave for the bear to spend its winter slumber, and have some fun with recycling while you’re at it. Take a cardboard box and cut one of the sides so you have a cave shaped structure. Decorate your cave with paint, construction paper, m…aybe even some stones from the backyard. In no time you’ll have a crazy cool creative cave for your favorite bears.

This holiday, get together and give back! There are so many ways to channel the holiday spirit into making a difference. Here are just a couple of suggestions:
Start a giving tree:
On a small tree, hang ornaments with the names of animal charities, local shelters, or animal organizations near you. On one side of the ornament, give the place name, and on the other, what they need this holiday. It may be supplies, it may be donations, or it may be your time. With so many ways to give, everyone can participate. People can take an ornament and give that thing for the holidays.
Hold a “toy drive”:
For a local shelter. Collect new dog and cat toys, new or gently used blankets, food, and other supplies. People can give whatever they can, and you can donate it all over the holidays.
There are of course more ways to give and to get others involved. So what will you do?
